Grant applications are due by Wednesday,
October 15, 2008.

Site visits to the various grant applicants will occur between the 4th week of Ocober and the first 2 weeks in November.

 

The Annual Membership Grant Selection Meeting will occur on the evening of Thursday, December 4, 2008. At this event, grant applicants will give presentations as to why they should be awarded an IMPACT 100 St. Louis grant. Each voting member of IMPACT 100 St. Louis will cast ballots to select the grant applicant that should be awarded a 2008 grant.

Welcome! We appreciate the opportunity to share with you our passion for IMPACT 100 St. Louis. Through these pages of information you will be able to learn more about us and quickly discover why we are so excited about this organization. If one person can do great things just imagine 100 getting together with the same mind and heart. A simple but powerful idea.

IMPACT 100 St. Louis is a simple concept. We combine annual donations from a minimum of 100 members and give large grants each fall to local worthy causes selected by the members. The only membership requirements are to be female and to donate $1,000 ($250 for Junior Members) each year. All of the $1,000 donations go to the grants. The operating costs of the organization are paid for by interest earned on the donations as well as donations from "Friends of IMPACT 100 St. Louis.” Please click on our Donate button to make your IMPACT 100 St. Louis Membership Donation or your Friends of IMPACT 100 St. Louis "Friend of IMPACT 100."

In 2006, CBS News did a story about IMPACT 100 which was originally known as Circles of Giving. Currently, there are seven IMPACT 100 Chapters in the nation, and while they each are independent, collectively over $6,000,000 has been raised in 3 years by these seven IMPACT 100 Chapters. And, best yet, all of the money has been given in $100,000 grants so real and lasting IMPACT for our communities is realized. As CBS anchor Katie Couric said, “A growing grassroots movement has been helping many of the nation's poor and disadvantaged. Kelly Cobiella reports on how giving circles have given some Americans a new lease on life.”

Steps for giving a One-time Donation via our

In order for IMPACT 100 St. Louis to receive your credit card donation without us being charged a processing fee of 2.4%, please click on our "Donate Now" button above.This will take you to our PayPal payment page. You will enter the donation amount and then click on the “Enter ship-to ZIP Code” button to“calculate total order amount. You then type in your zip code and click on the “Update” button next to your zip code. Your new balance will reflect the 2.4% processing fee.

1. Next Step if you have an Existing PayPal account At the bottom right-hand side of the web page, you can to sign-in using your existing PayPal account. This will take you to your normal checkout process.
2. Next Step if you do not have an Existing PayPal account (which you do not have to have to donate to us)You will click on the “Continue” button at the bottom left-hand side of the web page under Don't have a PayPal account? This will take you directly to the bill payment section and you will proceed as you normally do when paying for a purchase online.

In order for IMPACT 100 St. Louis to receive your credit card donation without us being charged a processing fee of 2.4%,"Subscribe" button above. This will take you to our PayPal payment. You will then follow the same directions listed above for “Making a One-Time payment.” We have set the subscriptions portion of PayPal to pay IMPACT 100 St. Louis two payments of $500: one payment is collected immediately and the second payment is collected in six months. These payments are set for one year membership so you will decide how you will want to pay us for the following year.
